Flying and Gliding
As a Cadet, there are many Click on the photo (left) to view some photographs of flying and gliding. |

We also attend parades in the local
area for events such as Remembrance Day, Hastings Week and others too. |
|||||
|
|
|||||
|
We participate in many other
activities locally, including the town carnival as well as helping The
Royal British Legion. |
|||||
|
|
|||||
|
As we have our own 25m range, we like
to go shooting as often as possible and
|
|||||
|
There are opportunities to attend
adventure training camps throughout the year. |
|||||
|
|
|||||
|
The Squadron has its own radios and
everyone is taught the correct procedures for their use. Cadets are
encouraged to attend courses to gain a qualification. Experienced radio
communicators use their skills on external Cadet activities such as
tracking teams during night exercises. |
|||||
|
|
|||||
|
There are many opportunities to go to
RAF stations for Summer or Winter Camps. These can be in the United
Kingdom as well as overseas. Cadets from 304 (Hastings) Squadron have
attended camps in Gibraltar, Cyprus and Germany as well as an
International Air Cadet Exchange visit to India. |
